Hiatus Announcement
When I started Liches & Lye almost exactly 4 years ago, at the height of the pandemic, I was really just mucking around—I could never have anticipated the response I’d get, and the loyalty I’d find in my amazing customers.
In mid-June, I’m moving to a new place, and unfortunately my new digs will not accomodate a candle business, and professionally, my “day job” (did you know I have a book out in September?!) is my main focus. With that in mind, Liches & Lye is taking an indefinite hiatus—with the definite upside that all my inventory is on sale!
To be clear, this is not the end for L&L—in a year, I may very well end up in another new place, and have room for candlemaking again.
In the meantime, I want to let y’all stock up. If an item you want is not in stock, PLEASE put in a request for a back-in-stock notification and I will make it for you. I will be making a few more batches of candles based on demand and this is my main way of measuring it. You can also e-mail me with any requests.

For the first time ever, mini candles are available to purchase individually! They’re $8 each, with discounts available when you purchase larger quantities.

Instead of full sets, I am now using an automated discount to keep my inventory numbers consistent—now, when you buy 5 of a candle size, you get the 6th free; and when you buy 7, you get the 8th and 9th free!

Additionally, you get 25% off every order automatically, excluding mini candles.
These discounts are live now! This sale will last until I run out of inventory, or time before the move, and I can’t make any guarantees about when the store will reopen. Please take adopt these candles; they need loving homes!
